The whole church space was set up with instruments - nobody knows exactly how many, but a conservative estimate was around 100 - and the team arrived with cake, and brewed the coffee !
Local teachers and enthusiasts brought their skills and instruments: harps and clarinets, double bass and brass, violins, guitars and ukuleles all rang out at different times.
Approximately 40 adults and children enjoyed the musical opportunities throughout the day - together with the refreshments!
Plans are in progress to arrange a small scale "musical coffee morning" on a regular basis, and we look forward to an even bigger event in 2020 !
As a part of our act of remembrance various organisations were involved in creating poppies and poppy wreaths to create displays in and around the church. You can see some of these in the gallery below.

Creative Spirit is an arts, crafts and flower festival showing the great variety of skills and talent we are privileged to enjoy at Offington Park. We held the first festival in June last year. Along with permanent exhibitions of art, crafts and flower displays, there were craft demonstrations. A Talent Concert and Songs of Praise concluded the event.
Have a look at the photo gallery below to get a flavour of the variety of artwork which was on display.
